Matt- in all honesty I don't really think there is a massive difference between PT 12.4 TO 12.7 but I will say AVID have got their act together more and more with successive builds and 12.7.1 is really really stable and great to work with which is why I just cannot commit fully to Mixbus as my workhorse, much as I like it. I may create a new PT session and see what happens. Just cool to see it work and put the audio files in the right place. It did, I played around with them a bit, and then deleted them. And all I did was import them to see if it worked. And honestly some of my sessions were old enough to be. Have you tried saving the session as an older format? Not sure what all options there are. I have PT12, but I haven't renewed my "not a subscription", so I'm at like 12.4. (05-10-2017, 11:15 AM)Matt Wrote: It could because you're on a newer version of PT. That would be the ideal here but I am amenable to alternatives, sure I will try Ardourxchange if you think it would be of benefit.

That way I can still work my production method in PT but utilise Mixbus mixing section without the need to render multitudinous wav files for export/import. Hi John - what exactly does Ardourxchange do? I have been wracking my (admittedly addled) brain over this - ideally I would have a routing option in my PT I/O direct into Mixbus with perhaps Re-wire handling sync between PT/Mixbus.
